All Public Sails include a presentation on the history of the ship and opportunities for passengers to assist crew if they wish (hauling lines, hoisting sails, etc.) Passengers may bring food and beverages aboard. Some themed sails have additional presentations at no additional cost - these include pirate, music, guest speaker, nautical knots, crackers & cheese, maritime heritage, and marine critter trawl sails.

 

Rate categories:

Adult = age 13-59 years

Senior = 60 years and up

Child = age 3-12 years

There is no charge for children under age 3, but they must have a reservation.

 

Public Sails: (2 ½ hrs)

Morning & Afternoon Sails: $40/Adult; $35/Senior; $20/Child

Evening Sails: $45/Adult; $40/Senior; $22/Child

Family Specials: $35/Adult; $30/Senior; $15/Child

 

Bayshore Specials: Sails out of the ports of Bivalve, Greenwich and Salem, NJ are discounted.

Morning & Afternoon Sails: $30/Adult; $25/Senior; $15/Child

Evening Sails: $35/Adult; $30/Senior; $20/Child

Birding/Eagle/Raptor Sail (4 hrs) - Birding experts, coffee, tea & snacks.  $40/Adult; $35/Senior; $20/Child

Lighthouse Cruise (6 hrs)   $50/Adult; $45/Senior; $25/Child

Mother's Day Sail (2 ½ hrs) - Coffee, tea & sweets.  $35/Adult; $30/Senior; $20/Child

Oyster Sail (2 ½ hrs) - Shucking demonstration & raw bar.  $40/Adult; $35/Senior; $20/Child

Festival Sail (1¼-1½ hrs) - A short outing on the Maurice River.  $12/Adult; $10/Senior; $6/Child

Transit Adventures - From port to port; one-way or round trip. Navigation and sailing skills taught. Duration and prices vary. Call for dates and details.

 

Camps:

Maritime Camp (5 days & 4 nights) $750 for youth ages 13 to 17. (click for more information)

Sailor For A Day (9 am - 4 pm) $70 for youth ages 10 to16.

Private Sails:

Youth Education Sails (3 hours) $725 for up to 45 passengers. (click for more information) Choose from a selection of educational programs. Designed for school groups, Boy/Girl Scouts, community organizations, sailing clubs.

 

Charters (2½ hours) Private $1,150; Corporate $1,500; Nonprofits $1000, for up to 45 passengers. Hold your fundraiser, milestone occasion celebration or special event aboard the schooner A.J. MEERWALD. Longer sails also available. Call for details.
